Party scheduling has never been easier or more customizable

 to meet Your facility needs.   

 The PTS PRO  was designed for party and event booking. After extensive research, we were unable to find an affordable solution. We did find expensive POS (Point Of Sale) systems with the ability to reserve tables or event planners for large venues. We needed a software that was capable of serving our facility's  flexible options. At Bounce Magic we came up with a solution to this problem.  We developed this software with an outside company and called it PTS Pro (Party Time Scheduler).  The idea of marketing our software came after  four years of research and use.  We tested it  in other FEC's, (Family Entertainment Centers), to make sure it was user friendly and compatible. With their suggestions,  we added and tweaked the program to be very versatile and CUSTOMIZABLE by the end user! Secured access allows you to decide who has what rights when using the program. Continually striving to improve the PTS PRO's options, we are currently developing an upgrade for booking up to four locations from one location while using one data base per site, and it will soon be available.   The Multi Site version will be an additional charge on top of the current purchase but once purchased it will work on your entire system.

Our software prints out a custom receipt on 81/2 X 11 paper.  This receipt is like an invoice showing all the party information and disclaimers.  It also has the itemized breakdown of the party costs including Non-Taxed totals for tax-exempt groups and items.  This receipt would be of little use if every time your hostess wrote on the company copy that she would have to re-write the same thing on the customers copy.  And of course in the unlikely event of a dispute with a customer, a carbon copy of the original is better that a supposed duplicate of the host or hostess handwriting.   So to fix this we use two part laser set paper.  Below is a link to a company that we buy from.  We only print on laser printers for speed and low cost printing.  Also we only use this expensive paper for the party bill.  We use regular paper on a low cost laser printer for all party agreements.  The program is also set up this way too.  If you have any question about the printing of the day of party bill or the party agreement, please don't hesitate to call.

The company is Moore Wallace and their number is 1800-280-4520 Their website for the catalog is not on line as of now but when it is the address should be http://www.catalog.moorewallace.com The paper product is called 2 PT LASER SET PAPER and is about $200 per 500 sets (1000 sheets) Yes this is expensive but consider if you have the printer make up a thousand two part bills and you now pay the labor to fill them in or make them with check against pre-priced items.  Or leave it to the host to write in every item then have the cashier read the handwriting at cash out.  The issues go on for ever about why it is better to use blank paper instead of forms.

Well, there it is. If you use their paper of some other carbonless paper and a laser printer, the system will work its best and serve you and your facility well for a long time.

New options and fixes

  • Required database update for users of 2.4.1 You must run this program before you start the new version of PTS Pro. Download here. as a zip file. You should unzip it to the same directory as the database you are using.  The patch will use the existing computers knowledge of the location of the database but it is a good practice to place this file in the right folder first.

  • Download 2.4.2 NOTE: Before you run this file you should back up (make a copy of the C:\Program Files\PTSPro folder) This is also where the dbMain.mdb file is an you should have daily backups of this.

  • Download demo program ver 2.4.2 and then the database only do this if you are a first time user of the program.  New upgrades and bug fixes are always free to download and will be found here.

  • Fixed a problem found in the taxing of a party bill.  Was fixed at 8.75% and would not use the users own tax rate.
  • Added an ability to make the Base price of a party type as 'Tax Exempt' for the purpose of renting a room, space or equipment as Tax Free while still charging tax on each guest attending that party.

PTS PRO Update software

As requested by customers we have now added and tested the following futures.

  • ZERO DEPOSIT = As a full rights manager you can easily take a party booking without the need for a deposit during the companies self defined 'On Hold'. This is also the number of days in which an employee can not book a party without getting a deposit first.  The managers over ride code will allow an employee whom is in the process of booking to merely ask for a manager over ride.

  • TAX CALCULATIONS = You Edit Reservations window shows the party total in the bottom right corner.  It now INCLUDES the tax as defined by the system.  Also if you click on it you will get a window with all the break down of the party costs.

  • TASK = When a party or event is ON HOLD and your staff has taken orders that auto generate TASKS to other employees or maybe an employee has written a reminder task to a manager about this party while it was on hold.  The problem was that these tasks would not be deleted or the users notified that the 'ON HOLD' party has self expired.  The system now notifies you of any tasks associated with an AUTO DELETED party.

  • BUG FIX = Under a general users security the option to alter a parties time is usually restricted from change without a managers over ride.  However, it seems that when moving from one tab to another would cause a pop up screen asking for you over ride even if you didn't try to change the time.  Also, we found that the time could be changed even if the code was not entered.  This is now fixed.
