System Options (Preferences)

This form is found under FILE > SETUP > PREFERENCES
NOTE: This form cannot be accessed while the Scheduler is open.

Select the 'GENERAL' tab and fill in the basic information.  This is where all the reports and agreements get their header information.  You can leave any of the fields open as needed.

Select the SYSTEM tab to set up the following information.

Template Directory is set default to the directory of the program and where to find the logo file and report filler files (.RTF) These files can be changed and edited by the end user. 

IIS Server Address:port  the format here can be http://192.192.192.100 or http://192.192.192.100:85 (IIS Server Address and using a different port) or just use http://office/  If you aren't using the web site connect module then leave this field as is in default.  (note: This option will be taken out in future versions.)

Default Pass Cost : This is for the 'Monthly Pass' so that employees need not remember the company set price.  Of course the field on the 'Monthly Pass' page can be changed if you have security rights.

Default Task Recipient: This will be gone or re-utilized in the future releases and at this time is not used.

Days On Hold: This is the number of days that a 'HOLD' or non deposit reservation will stay in the system before it self deletes.

Sales Tax: This number is used on the party bill according to your state requirements.

Manager Override code: The default is 9999.   A pop up for an override code comes up when an employee has not been assigned the rights to access this field. You can use this changeable code instead of logging out, then logging back in as yourself (a higher security) make the change and let the employee log back in.

Default Area code: Enter the area code most prominently used in you phone area. This will automatically show in the reservations wizard. If left blank,  you will need to enter area codes as needed or desired.

Enable Online Party Booking: This needs to be checked whenever the Site Connect module is purchased. Note: A MySQL enabled web site capable of using PHP coding must be supplied by the customer before we can sell this module.  We will require temporary access to the web site and your local computer.  Additionally, you the customer must have a Windows XP Pro with an 'Always On' internet connection and firewall/router.  This product requires extensive work and access to be installed.  Pre-consultation will be required.

Company Logo: The program ships with a default logo.  It is of course recommended that you use your own logo in the format of 96 by 96 pix's and in a JPEG format.  You can use other formats but you may not get desired results and to do so is at your own risk.
